During Pio Boffa’s last visit to Boston, we met for a leisurely breakfast and started the planning to put on a white truffle and Barolo dinner this year. Pio is always up for doing the very best and what could be better than matching one of the world’s greatest natural foods with one of the world’s greatest natural wines? To make it even more special Pio offered to supply magnums of the 1990 Pio Cesare Barolo. So the planning is over and the event is on. The menu is in the hands of a master, Chef Daniel Bruce of the Boston Harbor Hotel.
